Next Door Tax Services Website Terms
These terms govern use of the public Next Door website and related online intake features.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Website use
The website provides information about Next Door Tax Services and allows prospective clients to begin the intake process. Submitting a website form does not by itself complete tax preparation, create an e-filed return, or guarantee that Next Door will accept an engagement.
Tax preparation
Tax outcomes depend on the facts, documents, and information provided by each client. Next Door does not guarantee a specific refund, tax liability, credit, filing status, or processing time.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information and for reviewing required tax documents and authorizations before filing.
Secure document handling
Do not submit Social Security numbers, W-2s, IDs, or other sensitive tax documents through public website forms, ordinary email, text messages, or social media. Use the approved secure client portal when instructed.
Manager review and filing
Next Door uses an internal review workflow before e-file. A return is not considered ready for filing merely because a preparer has entered the tax information.
Refund advance products
Refund advances and other bank products are separate financial products offered through participating providers. Eligibility, approval, amounts, timing, fees, and program terms may vary. A refund advance is not guaranteed.
Electronic communications
If you provide contact information and choose to receive text or email updates, Next Door may use those channels for service-related communications consistent with your choices. Additional messaging terms are available on the Messaging Terms page.
Acceptable use
You may not use the website to submit false information, impersonate another person, interfere with the operation of the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Website availability
Next Door may modify, suspend, or update website features as needed for security, maintenance, legal, operational, or business reasons.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
